He was member of the White House delegation with President Obama’s visit to India and part of TiE delegation to Indian Prime Minister Vajpayee in 2000 . He is Founder of TiE Rajasthan. He is also the Chairman of the Emeritus Hume Center, a Trustee and past President Emeritus of the India Community Center, Silicon Valley,CA and Co-Chair of BITOSA Global. He is founder and Chairman of several companies including Versata which he built into a $2B NASDAQ traded company.


He has done his BS in mechanical engineering from Birla institute of technology, India and his MS in Industrial engineering & MBA in finance & Marketing from University of California, Berkley, USA

He is a Faculty of Computer Information Systems at the University of Malta, Malta, Europe. He is also an honorary lecturer at the University of Liverpool, UK. He has also worked as a researcher at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and at the University of Ulster, UK.


He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Ulster, Coleraine, U.K., in 2010. His research interests are missing data handling, machine learning, data mining, mathematical and stochastic modelling, and operational research, and their applications especially in the healthcare domain. He has published over 60 technical papers in refereed journals and conferences.

He has got 15 years experience in the IT industry. He has accumulated a deep knowledge in software projects, their methodologies and quality. He is also involved in writing books in Software engineering and web technologies.


An avid Speaker and writer, he loves speaking at conferences and delivered many presentations at national and international levels. Recently he presented his paper "Agile and Startups" in Madrid, Spain.  He has also presented papers in various conferences in Spain, Netherlands and Germany. He has also delivered many lectures in various colleges and universities across Jaipur. His various papers were published in many Indian and European magazines.
